Mission: Water (Day 4)

The well is in and as you can see the plaque has been placed. This is an important moment for our team and the village. It shows our people how people sacrificing is transformed into real impact and they are so proud to represent our community.
It tells the village that there is a God who loves them and who wants good things for them and calls His people to live for Him.
Pray that the village would see God's face in the smiles of children blessed!

Well, Ole Jed Clampett (If you are older than me you know this reference of the Beverly Hillbillies; if you are younger than me check out retro episodes on TV Land or some other station that makes me feel old) struck oil and a geyser spewed forth oil. That oil changed their lifestyle.

We hope to have pictures soon, but uploading large files seems to be a challenge.
The team is settling in. They even were invited to play a friendly game of futbol and to say that the results were amazing is an understatement. Our team has been welcomed into this village and is representing God's heart by simply immersing themselves in the humility of Christ and LOVING PEOPLE.

The team is on the ground!
Safe travels brought them to the team house last night and today they met the village! It is in the Sonsanate region in western El Salvador.
So far they have encountered 300 curious villagers and over 150 children!
